This is one miniature pub in bustling Priya’s market, Vasant Vihar. If you are nearby and looking for a quick drink with your set of friends this could be a considerable option. Its on the first floor right opposite Priya’s cinema . On entering you feel you have come to a different world where there’s loud soothing music, projecting some great music video and for the soccer crazy they have a big TV with streaming of live matches.
To comfort you they have number of options ranging from usual table and chair set-up to sofa and even bean bags if you are the couch potato kind. In all it’s a dark fare with soothing blue lights making you calm and feel refreshed.
For the alcoholic drenched this place has some crazy new options which are not easy to find in other places and not to disappoint the tea-totters there is a great range of mocktails. I tried some peculiar ones going with Glo-Bio and Antioxidant supreme both with healthy dash of fresh seasonal fruits, celery and aloe-vera.
The food selection is mostly limited to finger foods just to go with your glass of choice but there is a huge range of these too ranging from Indian to Chinese and even world selections. I tried the fish with lemon butter sauce which was a complete delight, tender pan seared fish served with lemon butter sauce; the peculiar part of sauce is that it comes with grated lemon and not just the squeeze which gives it a great aesthetic appeal as well as great pungency which is mostly missing from other sauces.
The tandoori mushrooms are delectable with mushroom halves in cheese stuffing, the star of the table would be the honey satay chicken with perfectly cooked chicken glazed in honey with a nice white sauce to accompany the satay. The tandoori momo is also something you might consider trying as it’s not a thing you find in every place.
For the Pasta lover’s here are a few selections a new one for most people would be the “Aglio-olio” which is garlic and olive oil dashed spaghetti and so is the dessert Gulab-jamun in hot chocolate sauce where I could not resist myself and had one more go for the same.
The PLF (pocket loosening factor) for 2 is 1200 INR exclusive of taxes and alcohol. Suggestive orders are honey satay chicken, Fish in lemon butter & Gulab jamun in hot chocolate, the place can be contacted on (011)41075881.
